Can carpet beetles live in your hair?
Yes, carpet beetle larvae can get onto your scalp. The natural oils in your hair will attract the carpet beetle larvae crawling on your bed to your scalp. People with dry hair might not face this problem. But if you’ve used hair oil, it’ll also attract the carpet beetle larvae to your hair.
Why do I have carpet beetles?
Carpet beetles are caused because they find food for their larvae in your house. Their larvae food includes all types of animal products such as skins, silk, wool, hair, etc. Most of the time they find such products because of poor cleaning, stained carpets and/or mishandling of animal-based products.
What is the difference between Hive and Hive Carbon?
The only difference that I know of is in the tiles. Carbon tiles are black-and-white and included different insect images- ladybug & mosquito. The original has more colorful tile without the ladybug and mosquito. This is the original Hive game, Hive Carbon may be an expansion or a completely different game.
Can you draw in hive?

How are small hive beetles spread between bees?
The small hive beetle may be spread between colonies and apiaries when bees, package bees, used hive components and hives are moved during normal management. Hive components may provide hiding places for adults.
How long can a beetle stay in a hive?
Beetles may fly distances of up to 7 km. They can follow the migration of swarms. scraps yet to be melted down. Beetles can also be transferred on protective clothing and bee veils. Adults may be present for extended periods in hives that show no signs of damage by SHB larvae.
Where do the beetles go after they hatch?
The eggs then hatch in the comb and the larvae feed on the hive’s honey, before crawling out of the hive to pupate in the ground nearby. The new beetles then hatch out of the ground, and fly back into the hive (or fly off to another hive) to repeat their life cycle.
What happens when you open a hive lid?
Beetles will move quickly away from the light when the hive lid is opened. If no beetles are seen, remove brood combs one at a time, examine all surfaces and place each frame outside the hive. Continue until all frames have been examined and the brood chamber is empty.
